All bags of mussels & clams are packed with an extra half to 1 pound to account for any broken shells or loss that are likely to occur during shipping and processing.

TIPS FOR STORING YOUR SHELLFISH

• Remove your fresh, live shellfish from packaging.

• Place shellfish in an open container (colander works best) to retain their natural juices.

• Cover with a damp towel.

• Place in your refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE.

• Stored this way will easily keep 5-7 days. Eat ASAP for best flavor.
