Penn Cove Mussels

Raised along the friendly cove of Coupeville, Washington, our Penn Cove Mussels are an exquisite delicacy known for their plump texture, sweet brininess, and distinct flavor profile that captures the essence of the pristine waters surrounding Whidbey Island.

These are the mussels by which all others are compared when it comes to taste! From the oldest, commercial mussel farm in North America, these mussels have won international mussel taste contests and always tend to amaze!

Total shipping weight including packaging is approximately 9lbs.

All bags of mussels are packed with an extra half to 1 pound to account for any broken shells or loss that are likely to occur during shipping and processing.

TIPS FOR STORING YOUR SHELLFISH

• Remove your fresh, live shellfish from box.

• Place them in an open container (colander works best) to retain their natural juices.

• Cover with a damp towel.

• Place in your refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE.

• Penn Cove Mussels stored this way will easily keep for 5 - 7 days. Eat ASAP for best flavor.

We harvest and pack your product the same morning the product is shipped! This means the product arrives on your doorstep within 24 hours of harvest!
